You can order an new forestay from Jerry Montgomery. He is in the rigging business - jerry@jerrymontgomery.org

You need to tell any rigger exactly what you want. I have never done a CDI furler but the information I have seen states that you can use the existing forstay. However all of the drawings show a turnbuckle at the bottom of the forstay. If this is true all you need to do is order a new forstay, exactly the same lenght as the current forstay but the bottom termination needs to be a turnbuckle. Specify the size of the turnbuckle and the length of the forstay and that should be all that is need.

To be sure though you might buy the CDI first ( or get a complete set of instructions) and make sure it actually requires a turnbuckle.

Thanks
