Eeg/Dr J Posted By: catsailor Date: 1/29/12 3:10p.m. Report: outside forum guidelines I am now wondering if I was looking for a new set of sails if I'd just order up a square top main in lieu of a standard set up main sail. We have NO Class rules and would I have a better speed advantage on all points of sail to say WHY NOT. I am wondering if Judy B or Bob Eeg would chime in about this subject matter. What are the pro's or con's of just doing a Square Top the next time for a stock M 15 or heck why not an M 17.
