The SoCal POTTER’s signature event is the annual crossing to Catalina scheduled for June 24 to 27. This year’s dates have been moved one week to avoid conflicts with Graduation, Weddings and Fathers Day. This is a no excuses year so mark your calendars and join the adventure. Special attention is being paid to the ladies; we really want to encourage their participation in this event. We will have alternative plans in place for anyone who would be more comfortable making the more challenging return trip to the mainland on the Catalina Express. Every lady attending this year’s event will receive a free Catalina Tot Bag, compliments of Mrs. Howie. Special prize will be awarded for the trailer sailor of any boat traveling the greatest distance. For all you sailors in Maine this is your chance? Captain Howie “Self Commissioned”
