I've finally started the project of a video journal of the Montgomery Sailboat Owners' Group-San Juan/Gulf Islands Rendezvous '09, held this past June. I decided to do a number of short videos of our trip so that they can be uploaded to Youtube and shared. The first two are done and uploaded with many more to come over the next couple of weeks till the entire trip is done. Lots of experimenting with using video and stills from a variety of sources (video camera, still camera, phone camera, etc) and converting files into formats that will work together, I think I have finally hit on a combination that will allow me to use them all together.
