M-17 Jib cleat

M-17 Sailors; I notice what appears to be a "jam cleat" astern of the Jib wenches on the M-17 photos I see on the web. I was wondering how you guys cleat off the jib after it's cinched up properly. A "jam cleat" that far down hill seems like it'd be difficult to make. I have cam cleats with fairleads in my little P-15 and I like that setup alot. Just a pull to cinch up, and a flip of the line to release. Am I missing something on the jib cleating deal on the 17's?
