Our M17 came with a 3 gallon portable fuel tank that has to be forced into the fuel locker. Is there a fuel tank that will fit in the fuel locker of the M17? My second question; has anyone installed either a permanent fuel tank in the starbooard stern area(basically wasted space) or even a 6 gallon portable fuel tank? I was thinking the latter would work well, and with an access port installed in the starboard locker bottom, you could view the fuel guage easily. We're intending to do some extended coastal cruising, which will include the ICW. As you know, sailing in the ICW isn't always possible, so we anticipate doing a lot of motoring and/or motorsailing. Any suggestions are welcome. John
