Has anyone sucessfully replaced or repaired the steel fenders on a Trail-Rite trailer? Mine keep breaking loose at the front and rear welds, then rattle like $#!!. If it weren't for the top/center weld(s), the fenders would have fallen off. I've had them tack welded back, but that didn't last at all. I'm thinking of grinding them off, and installing plastic fenders that bolt or clamp to the trailer frame. Anybody done this? If so, what did you use, and do you have any photos to share?
