Pat, I don't know if you would compromise the integrity of the hull by cutting in storage, but I am always hesitant about cutting into good fiberglass. However, I have been looking at mine and have no idea how to get in and fix that motor mount, but I also thought of a small person with good mechanical skills. As far as parts go I am at a loss. Seems there aren't that many for this boat online or locally(Norfolk, VA)Sails are so expensive new. i looked in to having a new main made by the gentleman who fixed a small seam tear, and he said between $700 and $1000. He does good work but I can't do that. I can get you the name and number if you would like JR. thanks
