is attached to the transom that the mainsheet is hooked onto. I am trying to semi-restore a neptune and the small pad eyes you're refering to seem small (on my boat) for the mainsheet load, they must be to small because it is bent. I am wondering if I should use something else or just get new pad eyes. Also wondering if they should be bolted through the transom or just screwed into the transom like they were previously. Any and everybody's feedback is welcome thanks.
