N 16 for sail

In Response To: Newport 16 on Sailingtexas.com (link) (pic) (Jerry,Newport 16', Lindenhurst,IL.)

It looks like an Award-built Newport out of Melbourne, Florida. Interesting though, it has a loose-footed main, and what appears to be a smaller diameter boom, sort of like a boom on a West Wight Potter 15. I didn't think any Newport's had a loose-footed mainsail. Perhaps the owner made a change?
