Fold up table Spacer

On my boat that oval block protects the table from rubbing on the chainplate supports pictured in the left of your foto. The swing hook in the top right of the foto latches the table in place when it is raised. The spacer keeps the folded and secured table vertcal to avoid bending the hinges past 90 degrees vertical.
