That picture reminds me of the state of my neptune 24 except a tree wasn't poking through the companionway.

My trailer was in pretty bad shape too, very rusted no electric worked and the tires were shot. I jacked it up off the ground and put new tires on. 450.00. Then had a trailer company take it and fix the rusted coupler, breaks, electrical, and repack the barrings. that was about 1,100.00. so about 1500.00 total.

Really though i don't think i needed to spend all that cash. Probably could have got away with just the tires and some temporary lights because the only time I used the trailer was to move it an hour away to lake erie and for winter storage. Now the trailer sits in the boat yard. I'd think about selling it but your in california.

I guess it depends on what your plans are but that's my experience. Here's a pic after I trailered it to the marina last year. Look at my shiny new coupler $$$$!
