After 18 months of rebuilding the electrical system, rigging and other items that needed to be updated on a 25 year old boat! Amethyst got underway from her home port in Olympia and sailed to Harstine Island. The kids loved the freedom. Amethyst preformed well sailing a broad reach almost the entire way...22nm.
Other Neptune sailors are welcome to come and join us on the next trip.
