Mine are not that bad I guess, no missing plastic anyway. Did you replace th 'glass'? If so, what did you use? I'd love to replace my frames with aluminum, it seems like a great alternative, but I'm not sure how I'd cut them out of a sheet. I can get sheet aluminum here in Minneapolis big enough to cover the opening. But, then it would not have any lip on it. What thickness did you use? I'm wondering if I've got this straight before I start: Do the frames just overlap both the plastic window and the fiberglass, thereby holding the plastic window in?
