New sails for Neptune 24

The time has come to replace the sails on my N-24. I blew out the main last night during the "Beer can racing series". Luckily there is only about 3 weeks of water left in our lake.There are so many options to consider... Has anyone bought sails through North sails "Cruising direct"? Overseas "Hong Kong" sail lofts? Other places?
I can get a new set of sails at cruising direct for just short of $1000.00 + shipping. A more local custom loft wants about $1600.00 for the set.
What are your experiences?
