I know its very similar the the 22, but would really like to find some original literature for it. It was made in Chanute, Ks. I have friends who live there, that are trying to track down the original builder. They tell me that the boat molds were still there a few years ago and they know the builder. I bought the boat from Lake Chaney near Wichita, Ks. There are still a couple of pictures of the boat on the web prior to my purchase. That is the only info I have been able to dig up. I have been told that there is a sailboat owner in my marinia at Orleans Trail Lake Stockton, Mo. who helped build them and may have laid my keel! We live about 150 miles from Chanute, Ks. in Springfield, Mo.
I renamed her the "Stranded Naked". She is a great pocket cruiser. I have 4 batterys in 2 banks with a solar charger only aboard. I am installing a microwave and 1200 watt power inverter aboard. She has GPS, DVD,CD,TV and stereo aboard. I am upgrading the galley to 12v water pump. A 150 roller genoa is used. All V berth and main cabin cushions are being recovered. Just had the hull stripped, bottom repainted and all new hull stripes applied. Lots of nice teak below and on the sole. Pleanty of room for her size!
We have a place in Marsh Harbor, Abaco, Bahamas and plan on being back down there this summer for Reggata Time! Any other sailors around from the Springfield, Mo. area?
