In Response To: Gloucester 16 or ComPac 16 - What to buy (Rodney Moore)

I have looked at a Compac 16 in person and it looked like a well built boat. I have seen a few photos of a G 16 and it looks like a good boat as well. For the most part, the boats are just about an even match. The lighter G-16 will make launching/recovery easy, but will be less stable on water. The C-16 will need more water to launch/recover but no swing keel to break. My normal sailing waters are the south eastern area of Virginia, so water depth is no problem.
