Thanks to all for the encouragement. I am chomping at the bit to get out on the water. I have some cleaning to do, a hull to scrape and paint, a motor to inspect, and some sails to get ready. I have a slip at Maryland Marina, about 10 miles by water from its current location. Staff seems friendly and knowledgeable, which is good for a converted dinghy sailor!
The mainsail is white with orange stripes, a sail number but no Neptune burgee. I wonder if this is original, or a replacement? What are your opinions? Also, the line used to secure the dagger board is missing. What do you all use on your boats?
Thanks for any help with these questions. I will try to post some photos, but all of mine are larger than a meg, and I need to crop them down to size...
Thanks,
Jay
