Thanks! I appreciate your help. I definitely have a sail from another boat, probably a Rainbow 24, and haven't bent it on yet. The guys I bought the boat from are looking to see if they can locate the originals. If not, I found a local sailmaker (Linthicum Sails) in New Jersey that can make a new main for $911 , all inclusive, and a genoa for $800 ish. Not bad, but I'd rather save new sail investments for some later date!
They also installed an aft lower shroud on either side of the mast, but 8-10 inched AFT of the mast. Looks like it will prevent me from putting boom all the way out, but I will check that out next time I am there. Shouldn't be a problem to move it to a better spot...
