170, 130, 110 + drifter reacher

In Response To: Genoa size (AJ)

I sail on lake erie which is know for light shifty winds, with sudden storms or gusts. The 170 is very big and is ok for light winds but seems to backwind the main and reduce the mainsail performance when close hauled. I mostly like the 130 though because it is smaller, easier to handle and doesn't hinder performance up-wind.
