Nice boat modifications Shane!

Currently I have a simple swim ladder that I throw off the stern to get swimmers out of the water, but it is really a pain in the rear to use. I have been thinking about mounting a swim ladder on the transom of Cougar. I really like how yours looks. What kind of support do you have inside the hull at the attach points? Obviously ripping a hole in the stern of the boat is a bad idea when trying to exit the water. Care to share any pictures / instructions?

Kruse'n- As Kevin stated the Puget Sound is a great place for the Neptune to sail. It is the perfect design for this area. I have only gone out into what I classify as "open water" once on a test sail when I first purchased the boat. It was up North by Port Angeles and we got out into 6' ish swells just outside the break water. The boat sailed fine but anything much larger or stuff that starts cresting would make me nervous. Keven has told me that he has sailed in some pretty rough stuff and the Neptune is built well so it can take some punishment.

Happy Sailin!
