Neptune 24 hatch replacement

Just bought a Neptune 24. Needs a lot of work, but it looks like it will be a fun boat. Has anyone out there replaced the forward hatch? Mine's pretty well shattered. I've tried epoxy without good results & I'm looking to replace it. Since it's a curved surface I'm figuring I'll have to buy a standard replacement and then build up a flat surface to fit the replacement. Any suggestions? Thanks!
