Tim,

I'll let other more familiar with the N20 speak to how well it will work as a small family cruiser.

One concern that I would have if you plan on mooring the boat is the rudder. The Nimbles have very large transom mounted rudders which are greatly affected by waves. If your mooring is pretty protected, then this will not be an issue. If it is not protected, and you have currents that may turn the boat so that it is broadside to the waves, this might be a significant problem.

I love my Arctic and it is built like a tank. I consider it's rudder as the one weakness. Good Luck. Mark
