I believe the owner of Emerald Mist is the party in question. He was nice enough to respond to my inquiry a while back, and posted some photos of the addition along with a brief narrative description.
"I replaced the curtain on my 24 with a solid door. I used 1/2" teak plywood, edge trimmed with a molding muck like the one at the cockpit door, and a continuous hinge (piano hinge). The opening to the head and the bulkhead are approximately the same size so I used the door for both. I used a piece of 5/4 teak for the top cut to fit the cabin top which also enabled me to recess the teak door at the head and put a barrel bolt on it to keep it closed. I post a few pics of it at www.msnusers.com/emeraldmist and click on the pictures. I hope this helps since I'm not sure if the set-up in the pilothouse is the same but I suspect it is.

Ed no longer has the pictures posted on the cited website. Hopefully the attached helps.
