Hi Everyone, Within the last week we became the proud owners of a 1992 Nimble Vagabond, whom we will be calling "Loligo," since that is a little more mysterious than simply calling her "Squid." We worked with Dave Junkins of NM-A, and after an unfortunate attempt to buy a Kodiak from another broker, Dave was a real breath of fresh air. I don't know his role in new boat production, but he will be great guy to know if you want to buy one. Maybe they may even take the lines off the original drawings (or an extant boat) and start Vagabonds again. Hard to figure, but Vagabond is easier to get around in than Kodiak. Dave thinks that Jerry Koch destroyed the original molds. Alas! Bon voyage. Rod McNabb

The molds weren't destroyed but slowly melted away. The N30 mold was useless -- norm ex-nimble new orleans -- 3/6/07 6:31p.m.
