I will be beefing up the rudder posts as recomended if I do buy the boat. As for the rudder, it does worry me, but hey what do you expect from a boat that is 20 yrs old! It you be a good progect to rebuild or reinforce the rudder. Would a Nimble 24 rudder perhaps work? The liner: Liner is loose, or to me is loose. Maby it is just how it is build and is not designed to be rigged. The liner is loose just above the quater berth area behind the back rest. Is this common? Rick, do you have any photos or details on the rudder gudgeons? My search showed some photos on trailer sailor, but what size reinforment, guage... Also, did your rudder have any issues similar to what I have talked about? Please see earlier posted photos. The life line post will need to be rebeded. Not sure how long it has leaked. From the looks, it has done it for some time, but not real extensive. Hopefully the core is not damaged., but if it is it could be an easy fix, I think! Thanks again and any others that want to chime in please do.
