Even Grand Banks have design flaws, and judging from what I have read the gudgeons on the Nimble 20 is one. I will be taking delivery on my Nimble 20 on the 3rd of February, and one of the first things I intend to check are the gudgeons. If they are as flimsey as the one's shown in the pictures that various forum members have posted, I am going to get some 316-marine stainless and beef them up. One source for 316-marine stainless that I found on the internet is Onlinemetals.com. Unlike most they sell small quanities. For example you can order a 1' length of .185 thichness x 1.25 width for $8.82 plus shipping. Will post pictures as soon as I have completed the project. Jim
