The good Lord willing, and the creeks don't rise, I will be picking up my "new" Nimble 20 in Memphis this coming Saturday, and at the risk of being banned from Trailor Sailor's Nimble Forum for life, I have a confession to make. I bought the boat with the sole intention of converting it into a "pilothouse trawler." While I have long been an admirer of the Nimble 20's sister boat, the Nimble Vagabond, there were lots of "improvements" I would have wanted to make if I had bought one; therefore, I decided to more or less start from scratch, and because I am retired, I will be able to work on the boat full time, and hope to have her in the water by the end of April. In addition, if this "project" turns out as well as anticipated, I will be offering to do the same for other Nimble 20 owners, for a reasonable fee of course. Also, because of the conversion, I will soon have a number of pieces of "sailing gear" I will no longer need, and which I will list in the classifieds. Jim Bailey, Mobile, AL.
