In Response To: Build Specs for an Artic trailer? (pic) (Greg Koch)

Greg, have you though of overhauling your old trailer. If the frame is still in good condition you can easily replace the wheels, axels, lights, etc. I bought a small trailer a couple of years ago for my sailing dinghy for $50.00, and for another $150.00 replaced the wheels, tires, bearings, springs, wiring and lights, and was offered $350.00 for it just last week. Also, the owner of the 1989 Nimble 20 I recently bought had done the same to its trailer a couple of years ago. Don't know what it cost him, but he said he saved a bundle by not buying a new one. I bought all my parts from Champion Trailers @ championtrailers.com. Jim Bailey, Mobile.
