(link) (pic) (Ed, N24 Sarasota) It is the sliding type. 2/3 of the length of it is "wasted" in being coupled to the main tongue. I am not satisfied with it. I am going to modify it to work as a pivoting type, like the one shown on this web page: http://hcgiles.home.mindspring.com/trailermods.htm This will make the useable length much longer, I think. It will also be easier to extend, as the current one binds quite often while trying to pull it out. One just needs *A LOT* of room to one side of the trailer when setting up!
