Awoke at 4:30 this morning and was out in the dark on the boat with trouble light exploring nooks and crannies. Its going to take me a while to figure every thing out and I will be looking through the archives as I search for answers. Found a few surprises and a lot of things I want to upgrade. One of the obvious are the many bolted items which should be removed and rebedded to assure a tight seal. At 14 years old its time to fix many differed maintenance items.

We have a snow storm up here tonight with about 4" on the ground and a little more to come along with the wind. As a result its to cold to putz with the boat outside so the mizzen came inside for a little TLC. Sure is small. I noticed some of the folks on the list increased the size a bit or even a lot. Did you increase the mast height?

Having sailed Hobie and Tornado catamarans for years having the Kodiak in irons won't be anything new. Does the Yawl rig make it any easier to swing it through a tack compared to a sloop rig? Never had a Yawl before, but think even that little sail on the end should help it around if handled right.

Well back to work/play, they say it should be up to the 50s by early next week. Ah spring in Wisconsin.
