As a new owner of a 1988 N24 yawl I want to welcome you to the group, as well. Though I live in Louisiana, I like to sail up in Northern Michigan in the summer, having previously lived in Wisconsin (Delafield area-upper Nashotah Lake). One GREAT place for summer sailing is in and out of Charlevoix City Marina, on what is technically Round Lake, the bay sitting between Lake Michigan and Lake Charlevoix. I have both rented a slip at the marina there, as well as anchored in Round Lake and rowed in, and the area could not be better. I plan to be sailing my Nimble up there in July, and hope to see you and others, if any fellow Nimble owners and sailors will be in the area.
