My Nimble 24 came with the Yamaha 9.9 (2 stroke model) and I wonder if the issue might be that (perhaps) your motor is a 4 stroke, which I gather is heavier. In the short while that I have owned and operated my boat, I have not had the perception that the motor was too heavy for this boat (which has the extra lead "shoe") on the keel. Can you describe the symptoms of your motor being too heavy? Thanks, Stephen
