(Jim Bailey) that the Tohatsu motor will put out as much thrust as I want/need. One of my marina neighbors just replaced the Y9.9HT on his Catalina 25 with a T9.9. Although he likes that it is cheaper/lighter, he says that the new motor has significantly less thrust. Since our boats are parked stern to stern, it is easy to see that the prop diameter on the Tohatsu is much smaller.
