In Response To: What is a new packing? (nm) (Stephen - Nimble 24 - North of Baton Rouge)

I believe WM has for sale a service kit for the Fynspray lever action pump. There were a couple types of packing used on these depending on when they were made. The one on mine was rope type. If you are not sure about these your best bet is to pay WM 10 bucks or so and you probably will get both in the kit.
