I don't experience the weather helm you describe unless I am extremely over canvassed and in strong winds say above 20. In 10 kts. I can balance the helm so that I can sail without touching the tiller for extended periods of time quit easily. That said, I do think the rudder should be redesigned and there was an article in the little publication called the "Nimblet", at least I think that is what was called, in which there was a redesign by a boat builder up in NJ whose ideas were endorsed by Ted Brewer. Norm Nimble was being pressured by some of us to get this done to his 24 and report back to us. Unfortunately he decided it was all to much pressure and sold his Nimble for something else. Ed
