My boat came fractionally rigged but I changed it, after I had it for about a year, for better light air performance. I don't recall any rake to my mast prior to the conversion but I suppose you can induce mast bend in any fractional rig. It sounds like you should be easing off on both the back stays and the forestay to see if your mast straightens.
