Report: outside forum guidelines

I went out to my 1988 N 24 today to find that the stainless triangular tube "thingy" that goes around the mizzen mast had broke. When I was securing everything last weekend after a great sail I must have put too much tension on the bungee cords that I run to it on the sides of the tiller. As a result there was no movement allowed to the rudder. During the course of the past week the constant waves putting pressure on the rudder forced the stainless tubes on both sides to break. Does anyone know where these things were made ,so I can try to get a replacement/thanks
