tiller fix

In Response To: tiller bracket (shenanigans)

This was a weak point with the N24. I removed mine and had it re-enforced at the weak points. I also modified the two tangs that attach to the wooden tiller. While I was at it, I replaced the wood tiller with a Catalina tiller to allow me to move under the dodger in a blow. The extra leverage isn't really necessary, since the mizzen allows fine tuning of the sail trim. I sent a picture to another sailor last year with the same problem. PS I spent September in the San Juans. Great weather but winds were a disappointment.
