This seems like a great use for a wiki (like Wikipedia). The software is free and easy to use. We could see if trailersailor.com is interested in hosting it, which would avoid any content ownership issues since a lot of the starting text would come from questions and answers on these pages. After it stabilizes a bit, we can make a printable version available and regenerate it periodically. There are times when you'd like to look at the manual when the Internet isn't available.
