Thanks to everyone for your input. This forum is certainly a big help to all of us. It is amazing that these boats that were for the most part designed & built extremely well all suffer from the same few problems. I have tied bungee cords from the tiller handle to the eyes on the coming where the blocks attach. I was thinking that maybe I should just not lash it at all and let it just move back & forth. What does everyone else do?

I had mine repaired by a GOOD stainless welder. You may think about putting -- norm ex-nimble new orleans -- 10/6/07 6:24p.m.
