I'm trying to get my act together to trailer the Nimble 20 down to Florida for a bit and I had the idea to take the cushions out of the forepeak to free up some space as it's highly unlikely there will anyone small enough to sleep up there aboard.
It occurred to me that maybe they serve a dual purpose in reducing bow slap noise at anchor, though my experience so far is that noises do a pretty good job of routing around the hull to always be right next to my ear. Anyway, any thoughts on this? I don't want to do away with them completely, but they make a for a tight and potentially soggy forepeak.
