My Honda 5 will sometimes choke itself (eg following wind, low speed) and I have had success with blowing fresh air at the motor intake using a clip-on, plug-in Caframo fan (something like 200cfm at around 1/2 amp). I clip to the fuel locker and plug into one of the two power plugs I added to the bridge deck. I try to remember to do this in advance of any critical docking maneuvers. One mobile, dedicated fan per person is almost a necessity in FL (clipped to the umbimini pole and aimed at the face). Paul
