You could check and see if your gudgeon is stamped RWO R0723 on the side. Still trying to get some information from those who have already figured this out. Are all the failures in the same place as mine? That might indicate that another layer of 3/4" by 1/8" or so material drilled and bent to share the load would be a good solution if you do it before it breaks.
