Thanks for the info. on the Honda 15 high thrust. Didn't know Honda made one, but will give it serious consideration especially since it would keep me from having to move the rear bulkhead back a few inches. I'm going to have to cut an access hole in it anyway (the rear bulkhead that is) inorder to replace what's left of the original gudgeons with the new air-craft grade titanium ones I had custom fabricated. Just kidding, but I do wish whoever it was that designed the Nimbles would have had enough foresight to have either used heavier duty gudgeons (bronze would have been nice), or had provided an access hole/inspection plate. Oh well, the Nimble 20 may have one or two small design flaws, but it is still by far the best built boat for the money that I have ever seen, and that includes the 17' Boston Whaler that my brother and I bought together back in 1968, and which he still owns.
For the record, the reason I had not given the Honda much thought is because when I went down to Gulf Shores to our local Honda dealer the salesman on duty that day lost all interest in answering any of my questions the second he realized I wasn't interested in one of the over-powered, over-priced fish-go-getters that were on display in their parking lot.
