In Response To: Burying the lee rail (Brent - N20)

When I first got my N24, this would be the fall of 89, I had not sailed but a couple times. I got caught in a late autumn storm and not knowing enough about how to handle the sails I had the main in the water, was standing on the side of the cockpit locker, the cockpit filled with water. so I can tell you that at 90 degrees she will still come back once she is over far enough to spill the wind from the sails. I soon realized that reading about how to do it and doing it when it really happens are entirely two different animals. Scared the hell out of me.
