have they lived up to your expectations? Since you enjoy experimenting with the design you might wont to check out the use of chine runners to increase lateral resistance. Matt Layden is a small boat designer that has come up with some very unusual small boat designs/mods, one of which is the chine runners. If you haven't already seen it, Small Craft Advisor, May June issue 2009 has a good article on him and his designs. Good luck...........Bill
