Rachael Ray likely had nothing political in mind when she wrapped a paisley scarf around her neck for a recent Dunkin Donuts commercial. How was she to know that paisley scarves were soon to join the right wing's hate list, along with bicycles, nuance, and the Bill of Rights?
Fortunately for America, Michelle Malkin was hard at work. If Rachael Ray pulled that scarf up over her head, cut off its fringe, held it down with a headband, and grew a beard, she would be the spitting image of Yassir Arafat. And we all know how important appearances are to national security. Had Dunkin Donuts been allowed to pursue its dastardly plan, soon kids across America would be reading the Quran as they chubbed out on jelly-filled donuts. Malkin declared a boycott of Dunkin Donuts. The company quickly came to their red, white, and blue sense. And pulled the offending commercial. (Click the link for article.)
Yes, I'm rolling on the deck laughing.
