We've done a lot of similar work on and off, but these days the kids' activities have been keeping us from it. The kids are getting to the age where they can participate so I imagine we'll be picking up the pace again. We belong to a club that has adopted a stretch of the Yellow River and organizes cleanup days to pull trash out of the river. We've also had a 1.2 mile section of the Appalachian Trail in a remote area near the GA/NC border that we've been responsible for maintaining for quite a while.
