What is the difference when it comes to not putting up (Shawn) I've made this point a few times. The NeoCon policies are radical and by definition conservatives don't do radical things. Far right wingers are capable of radical behavior but they are not conservatives... but rather embrace a liberal right wing ideology. As Peggy Noonan has pointed out, conservatives have followed them falsely thinking their ideologies were conservative. I remember shortly after Bush invaded Iraq, Paul Harvey a staunch conservative dressing down bush very severely on one of his news and comment programs for breaking his promise on nation building. Of course, the whole notion that there can be liberals on the far right is too difficult and unpalatable for either conservatives or progressives to embrace.
